Family Therapy

“Therapy, for us, is related to a growth process that takes place naturally in lives and in families.

We assume that the will and the need to expand and integrate experience are universal; and the family that enters psychotherapy is simply one in which that natural process has become blocked.

Therapy is a catalytic “agent” which we hope will help the family unlock their own resources."

"There are no individuals in the world, only fragments of families." Carl Whitaker

Are you facing challenges in your relationships? Is your family struggling to navigate life's complexities? As a dedicated family therapist, I am committed to providing affirming support for my clients. My approach is holistic, considering each individual within the family unit and acknowledging the broader realities of the world we live in.

In therapy, I offer a safe and compassionate space to address a range of issues, including behavioral concerns, communication difficulties, disrupted attachments, life transitions, immigration-related stress, grief, trauma, and experiences of oppression. Together, we can explore these challenges and work towards healing and growth.

Taking the next step towards therapy may feel daunting, but it can be immensely rewarding for you and your family. Let's embark on this journey together, empowering you to build stronger, healthier relationships and find greater fulfillment in life.

Adult Child Family Therapy

"Family dysfunction is like fire in the woods that rolls generation to generation taking everything in its parth until one person has the courage to face the flame. That person brings peace to her ancestors and spares those who follow."

The earliest relationships are with our parents and caregivers. As life goes on, those relationships continue to impact our sense of self and the world we live in. If those relationships have historically been painful, or have felt very challenging rather than supportive and safe, adult child family therapy can be a space for children and parent(s) to repair the bond and create a more enjoyable and healthy relationship.
